Tablets, vein tests, and animal shots
How AOD-9604 was given in past studies
Each amount belongs to one old study. None is a plan for care.
What do these research amounts mean?
A research amount only belongs to the old study that tested it. It gives no personal plan for your weight or medical care.
AOD-9604 has no approved human dose. AOD-9604 was never approved for human care.
Human weight tests mainly used tablets by mouth. Animal studies also used several kinds of shots.
In a pig vein test, half the drug left the blood in about three minutes. That finding does not describe weight loss.
Tablet studies ranged from tiny amounts to tens of milligrams. The main adult weight test still failed.
The figures below describe past studies. They don't form a safe or proven care plan.
A study amount only fits the study that tested it. It does not become safe for your own care.
Which amounts belonged to each study?
AOD-9604 studies used several methods. Each line gives the test group, amount, and reason.
- Obese mice: A 14-day course measured weight and fat [1]. Some mice lacked a protein needed for lasting weight loss.
- More obese mice: Long treatment raised fat burning and cut weight [2]. No people were part of that result.
- Early human vein tests: researchers set very small amounts by body weight. The tests followed where the drug went.
- Human tablet tests: amounts ranged from 0.25 mg to 54 mg. One 24-week test compared 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, and 1 mg per day [5].
- Rabbit knees: Each knee got 0.25 mg each week for 4-7 weeks. Some knees also got 6 mg of hyaluronic acid [7].
One paper sums up a 0.25-1 mg/day oral, 24-week human test. Mouse work included a 14-day course.
Rabbit work used 0.25 mg/knee each week. These are facts from studies, not a set of steps.
Tablets, vein tests, mouse work, and knee shots asked different questions. Each amount only makes sense beside the result measured.
How fast did the body clear it?
An AOD-9604 pig vein test found fast loss from blood. Half the drug left the blood in about 3 minutes [6].
The pig then broke the drug apart one protein piece at a time. The full chain did not stay in blood for long.
That fast result came from a pig, not a person. Separate human weight tests used tablets by mouth.
Published work mainly covers vein and tablet tests. Some tests involved animals, while others involved people.
Fast loss tells how long the drug stayed whole in blood. It gives no answer about weight loss or other benefits.
How was the drug given in studies?
Four ways of giving AOD-9604 appear in the papers. Each way answered a different study question.
- By mouth: Adults swallowed tablets in the weight program [5]. Researchers planned tablets as the human form.
- Into a vein: Early human and animal tests followed the drug in blood [6]. Those tests showed how fast it left.
- Into a knee joint: Rabbits got shots for arthritis [7]. No people were tested that way.
- Belly shots or a steady pump: Mice received the drug by both methods. The pump gave a small amount without stopping.
Drying helped the drug stay whole during storage [6]. The papers don't say how long it stayed whole.
The main papers report no long storage tests. Material from an unchecked seller may contain less, more, or something else.
Each method answered one study question. None of these records gives a home-use plan.
